DRIVING

First time driving alone today, Dec 20, 2012. MOST TERROR of my life... D:

More experience

yesterday, assuming that 12:36am doesn't count as the next day, I helped table for shorin-ryu. We changed 2 bucks for people to try to break boards and we taught them how to do it if they don't know how or lack confidence. I mainly didn't do anything.. >.>... I was practicing tonfa and bo staff and some sai. It lasted from 10:30 till 4:20 ish? There was a lot of interesting things that happened, such as, a kid breaking a board with a palm strike. And a guy who really wanted to break 3 boards in one go. We had a lot of extra boards in the end so we just broke them all for fun with different moves.

For today, we headed to Mt.Fuji (name of the buffet place?) and ate a lot of sushi and other Chinese food. Then after 2 hours and 30 something minutes we went to take a picture outside and then headed to walmart. We looked around and stayed there for a while. Then headed back home.
Michael made me drive the last few blocks to get to my house T_T... I was scaredface D:

Fresno food trip...?

So we went to Fresno (an hour drive from Merced?) to go to a sushi place and apparently it was closed on Sundays. So we ended up going to "Tang Dyn(a)sty." It wasn't bad, so just ate a bunch of Asian food (buffet! :D). We had a fortune cookie duel and mine was "the weather is wonderful". WHAT KIND OF FORTUNE IS THAT?! But when we headed back to Merced, the weather is nice. So I guess it did happen...

Motivation

"I want to be a fireman." A typical line given by a little kid. Some says it because it's cool, heroic, or just plain awesome. There're many different reasons behind what we want to do; sometimes the reasons may just be plain retarded but it's what keeps us from stopping. As long as there's something to motivate us, perseverance will be there.
As for me, I feel like I have no motivation. There's no will, especially for school work. I do it because I don't want to let anyone down. I have a major, but it feels empty. I don't have the drive to continue pursuing it. I just let the flow drag me to where ever. I have different many different hobbies, but I never follow through it. I always think that it's not worth it, I can't be good at it, I'm not good enough. I learned to give up without even trying...is it because I don't have motivation...?
If so, how can I accomplish anything without motivation? How do I motivate ourselves to pursue something? (In your own opinion, does motivation come through inspiration? delusions? or what? ...etc?)
